Welcome to Vale House Bed & Breakfast
Our lovely Georgian home is situated in the beautiful South Cotswolds village of Chalford and is surrounded by an area of outstanding natural beauty; deep gorge-like valleys through which the River Frome runs. Queen Victoria took a train through this area and called it the "Golden Valley”. The name stuck.
We offer Bed and Breakfast from a choice of our four guest rooms.
We would like you to feel at home, without the chores(!) so, as well as breakfast, we also offer delicious home cooked evening meals, made from fresh, local (where possible) ingredients, should you wish.
Close to the charming market towns of Stroud and Cirencester and within easy reach of Tetbury and the larger Regency towns; Bath and Cheltenham, Chalford is the perfect base for exploring this uniquely fascinating and most English of counties, whether its atttractions, towns and villages or its secret valleys and woodlands. The choice is yours.

We serve full English or continental breakfast from 7.30-10.00am, in our bright, welcoming dining room. Cost: £12.00

Dinner
Fresh, delicious simple home cooked evening meals are available.
Or spoil yourself with canapés in the drawing room, followed by candlelit dinner in the dining room. Cost from: £30.00

Mandy was lovely, the room was very nice and the bathroom, right next door was large and light filled. We opened a bottle of wine and spent a couple of hours downstairs in the drawing room.. A trained caterer/chef, the breakfast was off the hook good! Make sure you wake up hungry!
